Virtual Assistant Job Description

Are you organised and trustworthy? Passionate about women making impact in the world and also comfortable with spiritual businesses?

I’m looking to hire a virtual assistant. Bluntly, I’m looking for a detail-oriented, efficient, problem solver who is self motivated, confident and comfortable with autonomy and taking radical responsibility.

I am a passionate founder of a business with a big mission and a lot responsibility on my shoulders. I need a powerfully efficient VA with high energy, to support me to realise my mission with grace & ease. In this short video I share my mission & vision with you.

Please note: You MUST have at least 3+ years as a Virtual Executive Assistant for a CEO or business owner (at least 1 of those in a self employed capacity).

  • Starting at £17 - £20 per hour dependent on experience

  • Pay will increase based on performance after a probationary period.

On any single day, you might do these types of tasks:

Business Tasks:

  • WIX system updates (this is my website platform and booking system).  Ideally you’ll already be aware of WIX and competent with the system, but it really is a simple and easy to use platform.  If you’re not familiar with WIX, you must be prepared to spend unpaid hours taking a look, watching their ‘how to’ videos and gaining knowledge of at least the booking system, subscription settings, emails & automations.

  • Basic website amends (normally text or images) - again on WIX

  • Creating and scheduling emails to my various lists and automations - again using the WIX platform.

  • Customer Care - responding to any emails that come through the team email address, the website or Facebook messenger.  Helping clients with any queries or issues in a timely and helpful manner.

  • Co-host zoom events ensuring they run smooth and the chat box is also taken care of and any outtakes documented.

  • Writing basic copy for social posts and blogs (focused on my products & services so info already there to use and adapt).

  • Venue sourcing for retreats & events and then planning & organising everything to run smoothly (there may be opportunities to come on retreat with me for both work & play)

  • Creating branded social templates in Canva following the brand templates and guidelines already in place.  Adding and scheduling posts in Planoly. Again must be proficient in both Canva & Planoly.

  • Supporting me in my Facebook groups - with set up, maintenance and ensuring everyone is looked after.

  • Creating other simple marketing elements in Canva following the brand guidelines already in place.

  • Finding great service providers/new software solution

  • Problem solving

  • Transcribing voice notes and videos

  • Collating and sending out prize winner / new client care packages either digitally or in the post.

  • Other various admin and organisational tasks

I’m a fair but demanding boss. I need someone to take away the daily admin, planning, doing, remembering and organising tasks.  Someone who clearly listens to instructions, takes notes and can hit the ground running. You should enjoy negotiating deals, be confident on the phone & enjoy engaging with people, finding solutions to problems that impact the business (mine, the business and your own personal life) and be fun to work with.

I am an empowering leader who loves to see others grow and shine in their abilities.  Offering autonomy and the ability to bring your own magic into the business. I am a clear communicator, honest and as I grow, you will grow too.

If you’re looking for a slower or short-term role, or a role to juggle around your very busy life for extra cash, this is not for you.

If you’re uncomfortable with spirituality then this role is not for you.

Flexible Location & Hours

  • You can work anywhere in the UK.

  • This is a part-time role and has room to potentially become full-time as I’m looking for a loyal member of my team that can really help me create time to lead a mission based business whilst taking care of my own health needs. You’ll start with 4 hours per week and then we’d discuss whether it makes sense to work more together.

  • Right now, there is a level of flexibility in hours.  I will need some mid-week day time hours, but also happy for you to work evenings or weekends if better for you. You can either set your hours, or change them week by week. Whilst there is flexibility, working in focused 1 to 2hr blocks has proven to be the most effective & efficient.  If you have constant interruptions which do not allow you to be fully present when working, this role will not be suited.

  • The flexibility of hours might change as the role grows so if you know you are unable to commit to a more solid working hour structure (but still flexible) in the future, this role is not for you.  I want someone to grow into the role with me for longevity.

To apply for the role, send a 2 minute video explaining why you’d like this role along with your CV to
